DESCRIPTION:2026 SUMMER TEAM RUN N GUN at the BURIAL MOUND. Back yet again by popular demand! \n*PLEASE READ!!!!* \nOnly 1 registration per Team\, this year your teammate does not have to register\, your single registration is for both of your run slots. If your teammate has to cancel\, just bring someone else (t-shirt size not guaranteed\, as we base this off the initial registration). Once you register\, you are responsible for communicating any rules\, run\, or stage info provided by The Burial Mound to your teammate\, you will be the only one on the “team” receiving an email from The Burial Mound. \nRO Teams run Friday the 24th\, Paid Teams run Saturday the 25th. \nTeam members must start and finish the course together. \nEach team member will carry their own centerfire rifle and centerfire pistol as well as all gear and ammunition they might need on the course with them\, teams cannot share rifles or pistols due to safety concerns and COF\, this is a team event\, so both team members should expect to be shooting at the same time on most stages.\nIf a stage requires forward/advancing movement\, the team has to move together\, individuals will not be allowed to proceed to next shooting position if their teammate has not accomplished their portion of shooting task. \nWe don’t like to gear shame\, but please make sure your equipment is operational and safe. Please no Crossdraw or Chest Rig holsters as stages may require you to draw and fire. MD’s and RO’s will DQ you if your equipment is deemed unsafe. If you are new to shooting sports are are unsure about your equipment\, please ask! \nAny runner under 18yrs of age must be accompanied by an adult (no runners under 14yrs old). All runners must be knowledgeable on firearm safety and use of their equipment. \nBurial Mound Run n Gun is a biathlon through the fields and woods of Pawnee County Oklahoma. Expect anywhere from 5-8 shooting stages. There could also be physical obstacles like cargo net climbs\, walls\, as well as the natural obstacles the terrain provides. \nRound count TBD **No Green tip/Armor-piercing ammunition** \nPistol distances will be anywhere from 7-50yds\nRifle distances will be anywhere from 40-500yds \nThis will be a chance to test yourself and your gear in a stressful environment and have fun at the same time. Registration includes a t-shirt and meal as well as the chance to win a lot of great prizes from our many sponsors in a random drawing for all present at the end of the event. \nRegistration fee $320/per team \nRefund policy:\nFull refund\, minus fees\, until 60 days before event\nHalf refund\, minus fees\, until 30 days before event\nNo refund within 30 days of event

DESCRIPTION:Intrepid Defense Range Complex is proud to present a hard-charging\, five-match 2-Gun Series throughout 2026 — built to push your shooting ability\, fitness\, and mental performance under pressure. Each match will feature a mix of technical bay stages and expansive field stages\, designed to challenge every aspect of the modern shooter. Expect fast\, aggressive stages that demand precise marksmanship at distance\, rapid transitions\, and controlled movement under stress. Bring a sling for your Rifle\, you will need it. \nThe first four events in the series will each consist of 8 stages\, blending short\, high-intensity bays with longer\, open-terrain courses that test endurance and decision-making. The final championship event will raise the bar with 10 stages\, combining everything from speed shooting to extended-range problem-solving. All matches will use Hit Factor scoring\, rewarding the perfect balance of accuracy and speed — the faster and cleaner you shoot\, the higher you score. \nThis series will challenge both skill and stamina. Competitors can expect to run between shooting positions\, manage gear\, and shoot from a variety of positions while moving. Physical fitness will be a key component\, as several stages incorporate light movement tasks and realistic stress elements. Accuracy at distance\, control on the move\, and efficient gun handling will all be tested throughout the series. \nThere are two divisions: Open and Tactical. \nRestrictions on calibers for all divisions – Rifle is .223 or .556 only\nPistol is 9mm / 40 cal / 45 \nOpen Division: No restrictions — build and run whatever setup you prefer. \nTactical Division: Designed for practical rifle setups and kit use. Rifles max barrel length is 18 inch barrel\, 10× optic or less\, and a 30-round magazine limit. Tactical competitors are also required to wear kit weighing at least 10 lbs. There are no restrictions on pistols in either division. \nEvery event at Intrepid Defense emphasizes safety\, sportsmanship\, and professionalism. Stages are designed and staffed by experienced range officers\, with full medical coverage and clear stage briefs. Registration details\, match dates\, and prize information will be released as each match approaches — spots will be limited. \nThe Intrepid Defense 2-Gun Series is not just another competition — it’s a proving ground for the complete shooter.
