SUMMARY:Green Beret Fitness - Operation Shooter - South Carolina - December - 2026
DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n\n\n\nOperation SHOOTER (Winter) 2026 \n \nEvent Start Time: Saturday 12 December 2026 at 0500 hrs Briefing \nStart Location: The SawMill Training Complex\, SC \nEvent Finish Time: Sunday 13 December 2026 at 1600 hrs \nFinish Location: The SawMill Training Complex\, SC \n \nOperation SHOOTER is the proving ground for tactical athletes who want truth\, not frills. Across two days you will move through shooting and fitness evolutions built around real military problems\, where accuracy\, speed\, and decision making collide under pressure. This isn’t target shooting in comfort\, it is hitting when you are cold\, smoked\, and overloaded\, where every mistake costs time and every decision shapes your outcome. \n \nThe scenarios are drawn from real operations\, forcing you to adapt fast\, manage stress\, and think like an operator in environments that refuse to cooperate. Precision meets chaos\, and only those who can hold their standard under real world conditions will rise. \n \nBy the end you are not just a sharper shot\, you are a more capable\, more confident operator\, forged by conditions that punish hesitation. All equipment and ammunition are your responsibility. \n \nBackground \n \nThis event puts you into a harsher and more realistic environment than anything else in the US shooting world. Every evolution is built from real operational problems and nothing is revealed until you face it. You will be wet\, tired\, dirty\, and frustrated\, because shooting is easy when you’ve slept and eaten. Here you get pressure instead of comfort\, uncertainty instead of routine. The only question that matters is whether you can stay in control when everything else is slipping. \n \nMission \n \nCandidates must complete seven events over two days\, and one night. The scores for each event will be added to get a total score. You will not be given your score until the very end. \n \nThe Events \n \nFor 2026\, Op SHOOTER expands into a true multi event gauntlet. Competitors will face at least seven tests that blend endurance\, movement\, strength\, and precision. Each evolution demands a different gear shift under pressure\, forcing athletes to manage fatigue as the day compounds. Nothing is predictable\, nothing repeats\, and every event is designed to expose weaknesses. This is not about excelling at one skill\, it is about holding your standard across all of them. \n \nExecution \n \nCandidates will complete events while carrying 25 lbs in a backpack (not including water\, food\, and firearms). \n \nCourses will be well marked and will consist of off-road\, on track\, and water obstacles. Candidates should ensure their kit is fully waterproof. \nBetween events\, candidates are encouraged to hydrate\, rest\, and maintain their equipment. \n \nScoring \n \nScores will be taken from both the fitness and shooting elements. You will not know where you place until the end of the event. There will be an overall Male and Female winner and a second\, and third place. \n \nService Support \n \n– Timings. \n \nFriday 11 DEC 26 \n\n\n1700 Candidates are welcome to arrive at The SawMill Training Complex. \n\n\n \n\n\nSaturday 12 DEC 26 \n\n\n0500 Opening Brief \n\n\nIMPORTANT: there will be events during the night Saturday.
