SUMMARY:Old Eighteen Defense - Run and Gun - Texas - May - 2026
DESCRIPTION:Visit- WWW.OEDEFENSE.COM for more information and ticket purchasing. \nLocated at the edge of the Edwards Plateau\, the competition will offer some amazing views as the course takes you over one of the highest points in Bandera County. Look for some unique and challenging shooting stages utilizing this terrain. \nTactical Biathlon is a 2-gun biathlon. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol over a predetermined course of fire ranging in distance. \nCompetitors will encounter several stages to shoot at throughout the course. These stages may be rifle only\, pistol only\, or a combination of the two. \nThis event will include a Series\, Rivals\, and Sniper competition. \nCompetitors have varied amounts of time to complete a stage. If the competitor fails to complete a stage within the time allotted\, they will receive a Did Not Finish (DNF). \nEach stage has a unique layout including varying numbers of targets and distances to the targets. Competitors must be able to adapt to the stage\, target size\, and distance on their own in order to complete the stages. Generally\, pistol targets will range from 15-50 yards\, while rifle targets will range from 75-700 yards. \nThe Sniper competition distances will be out to 1300 yards. Calibers restricted to .223-.308. Nothing over 3200FPS. \nWe will do our best to set up the Series and Sniper courses separately\, to make them unique\, but we may reuse and/or modify stages between the two days. \nCompetitors will be put in unique situations and positions that will require engaging targets they might not be accustomed to. Additionally\, some stages might require movement\, or transitions from one position/weapon to another. Safety is paramount. Competitors and ROs will ensure that shooters are moving with the safety on\, finger off the trigger\, and muzzle down range. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. \nWhile running on the course\, rifles will not be loaded or have a mag inserted. Pistols are allowed to be in condition 1 (or loaded) while holstered. Competitors will be checked at the start/finish along with the entry/exit of every stage. Failure to follow this (or competition specific rules/regulations) will result in immediate disqualification. \nOur competitions will weight your scores 50% for shooting and 50% for run time\, unless otherwise specified on the event page. \nThe ‘Series’ event will be held on Saturday and the ‘Sniper Challenge’ AND Rivals events will be held on Sunday. \nCompetitors and RO’s are permitted to tent or bring an RV\, but there will be no hookups provided on the property\, during the competition weekend. \nThis year\, run times will be created based on Ticket date and Time of purchase. The earlier you purchase\, the earlier you run!

SUMMARY:Twilight Biathlon - Oklahoma - May - 2026
DESCRIPTION:Nighttime biathlon with 4 shooting stages and 5K course through Oklahoma fields and woods. Competitors will be scored based on shooting stage times and run time on the course. Stages and course are not lighted\, but well-marked. Competitors will provide all of their own light with any combination of weapon mounted lights\, headlamps\, or flashlights. DESCRIPTION:The Proving Grounds GEORGIA is a 1 day Match. This is a 2-gun match that tests the competitor’s marksmanship ability while under stress. 70% shooting\, 30% fitness. Competitors will carry objects of varying sizes and weights\, negotiate obstacles\, and engage targets from 1 to 500 yards. 8 stages This competition allows competitors to test their marksmanship\, fitness\, and gear choices. \nWe are also offering the Tactical Sniper Series match on Sunday \nMAY 16 \nDivisions:\nMens Elite- Plate carrier weighing a minimum of 15lbs dry (Not including ammo). Weights carried will be the most challenging in this Division. \nMens Intermediate- Plate carrier (15lbs). Weights will be lighter than Elite Division. \nMens Masters- ages 45+. Plate Carrier (15lbs). Weights will be equal to the Intermediate Division. \nSlick- No plate carrier\, just guns and ammo. Run the same stages and do the same obstacles and physical challenges just without a plate carrier. Weights will be equal to the Intermediate division. \nWomen \nFirearms: All divisions are Open. SUMMARY:No Man's Land Shootout Mini Run N Gun - Oklahoma - May - 2026
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the inspiration of some of our friends east of us in Oklahoma\, this will be our homage to the shooting discipline they love so much – a Run N Gun! This event will be a centerfire rifle and centerfire pistol event. All magazines\, ammo\, tools\, and water must be carried on person; however you wish to do so\, from start to finish. Our goal is to BE SAFE and have fun! We’re shooting\, no cancelations\, in any condition short of a blizzard\, tornado\, lighting\, dust storm\, or a torrential downpour. \n\n\n\nRound count will be finalized closer to the date of the match and emailed to all shooters\, but the event will likely consist of 4 stages across 2-3 miles. \n\n\n\nIf the shooter forgets an items or has to return to their vehicle\, the shooter may restart the event\, but your total time will continue to run. The stages must be reshot with the worse of the two score being kept. A rigorous system of checks will be utilized to ensure all firearms are unloaded while not under the direct supervision of a range officer. If a firearm is found to be loaded when not explicitly allowed\, the shooter will immediately be disqualified. Once shooters arrive at a stage\, an RO will check their rifle to ensure an unloaded firearm. If there is another shooter currently completing the stage\, the shooter will need to keep track of their wait time before they start the stage. This is so time outside of their control is not penalizing their run time. Squadding is not required for this match format as each runner will have their own individual run time assigned to them upon check in.
