EVOLVE. \n**GET EXTRA TRAINING IN BEFORE THE PATRIOT GAMES MIAMI MATCH ON JAN 31 2026** \n1.0 Operational Overview\nTAT matches are competitive training environments designed to test yourself and your gear. \nWhile these matches provide a learning atmosphere\, they deliver a highly dynamic workout and range experience unlike any other. This is your opportunity for loadout validation—shaking down your kit and refining movement efficiency under physical stress without the pressure of a major competition. The focus is on personal benchmarking: you vs. the work. \nStage Design: Competitors will engage mock stages that mimic popular tier-one matches such as The Tactical Games and The Patriot Games. \nThe “Real Deal” Prep: Participants will be able to test run official RLS (Run | Lift | Shoot) Classifier Stages\, providing a standardized metric to gauge readiness for upcoming ranked Series matches. \nActive Feedback: Unlike major matches where coaching is prohibited during a run\, TAT matches allow for instructor intervention and post-run feedback to correct technical deficiencies immediately. Instructors are on standby to provide feedback if requested\, ensuring a self-paced environment for those who prefer to train without interruption. \n2.0 Division & Gear Guidelines\nAttendees should register under the division that matches the kit they intend to test. This ensures you are grouped with athletes of similar loadouts for pacing. \nTactical (Vested)\nTactical Elite: Full Kit (Plate Carrier) + Heavy Physical Load\nTactical Intermediate: Full Kit (Plate Carrier) + Standard Physical Load\nTactical Beginner: Full Kit (Plate Carrier) + Reduced Physical Load \nSlick (Belt Only/No PC) *Chest Rigs Allowed*\nSlick Elite: Belt Only + Heavy Physical Load\nSlick Intermediate: Belt Only + Standard Physical Load\nSlick Beginner: Belt Only + Reduced Physical Load \nRuck (Highly Recommended): If you own a ruck\, bring it. If time permits\, you may have the opportunity to get extra reps on specific drills or classifiers. \nFITNESS SAFETY: We will be pushing physical limits. Please hydrate the night before. If you are new to training in a plate carrier\, let the instructors know during the brief so we can scale the volume appropriately. DESCRIPTION:Intrepid Defense Range Complex is proud to present a hard-charging\, five-match 2-Gun Series throughout 2026 — built to push your shooting ability\, fitness\, and mental performance under pressure. Each match will feature a mix of technical bay stages and expansive field stages\, designed to challenge every aspect of the modern shooter. Expect fast\, aggressive stages that demand precise marksmanship at distance\, rapid transitions\, and controlled movement under stress. Bring a sling for your Rifle\, you will need it. \nThe first four events in the series will each consist of 8 stages\, blending short\, high-intensity bays with longer\, open-terrain courses that test endurance and decision-making. The final championship event will raise the bar with 10 stages\, combining everything from speed shooting to extended-range problem-solving. All matches will use Hit Factor scoring\, rewarding the perfect balance of accuracy and speed — the faster and cleaner you shoot\, the higher you score. \nThis series will challenge both skill and stamina. Competitors can expect to run between shooting positions\, manage gear\, and shoot from a variety of positions while moving. Physical fitness will be a key component\, as several stages incorporate light movement tasks and realistic stress elements. Accuracy at distance\, control on the move\, and efficient gun handling will all be tested throughout the series. \nThere are two divisions: Open and Tactical. \nRestrictions on calibers for all divisions – Rifle is .223 or .556 only\nPistol is 9mm / 40 cal / 45 \nOpen Division: No restrictions — build and run whatever setup you prefer. \nTactical Division: Designed for practical rifle setups and kit use. Rifles max barrel length is 18 inch barrel\, 10× optic or less\, and a 30-round magazine limit. Tactical competitors are also required to wear kit weighing at least 10 lbs. There are no restrictions on pistols in either division. \nEvery event at Intrepid Defense emphasizes safety\, sportsmanship\, and professionalism. Stages are designed and staffed by experienced range officers\, with full medical coverage and clear stage briefs. Registration details\, match dates\, and prize information will be released as each match approaches — spots will be limited. \nThe Intrepid Defense 2-Gun Series is not just another competition — it’s a proving ground for the complete shooter. Whether your goal is to refine your performance under stress\, test your kit\, or compete against the best\, this five-match series will deliver one of the most challenging and rewarding 2-Gun experiences of the year. SUMMARY:TSSA: Run | Lift | Shoot (RLS) - Florida - August - 2026
DESCRIPTION:Location:\n2102 24th St SE\nRuskin\, Florida 33570 \nMatch Name: TSSA: RLS Series (Run | Lift | Shoot) – Ruskin\, FL\nPlatform: TSSA (Tactical Shooting Sports Association)\nEvent Type: Competition w/Classifiers \n1.0 Operational Overview\nThe RLS Series is a true competitive event designed to establish your standing in the tactical athlete community. \nUnlike the developmental environment of TAT (Tactical Athlete Training) matches\, this is a competition where performance counts. The RLS Series features Official TSSA Classifiers—standardized stages that allow you to earn a classification and enter the official ranking system—alongside dynamic field stages to test your total skillset. \nGet Ranked: This is your opportunity to put a score on the board. Competitors will execute specific classifier stages to determine their division rank and see exactly how they stack up against the competition. \nMeasure Your Performance: This event moves beyond the “shakedown” nature of a TAT match. It provides a direct\, scored comparison of your fitness and marksmanship against a field of peers. \nThe Competitive Standard: While the environment remains camaraderie-focused\, the coaching stops here. The clock and the scoring are real\, and you are competing for placement and classification status. \n2.0 Division & Gear Guidelines\nCompetitors must register for the specific Division that matches their kit and physical capability. \nTactical (Vested)\nTactical Elite: Full Kit (Plate Carrier) + Heavy Physical Load\nTactical Intermediate: Full Kit (Plate Carrier) + Standard Physical Load\nTactical Beginner: Full Kit (Plate Carrier) + Reduced Physical Load \nSlick (Belt Only/No PC) *Chest Rigs Allowed*\nSlick Elite: Belt Only + Heavy Physical Load\nSlick Intermediate: Belt Only + Standard Physical Load\nSlick Beginner: Belt Only + Reduced Physical Load \nRuck (Highly Recommended): If you own a ruck\, bring it. No fabric/nylon universal holsters.\nBelt: Sturdy gun belt with magazine carriers.\nMagazines: Minimum 3 magazines for Rifle / 3 magazines for Pistol.\nEye & Ear Protection: Mandatory for all participants and spectators. \n3.0 Logistics & Schedule\nLOCATION Gun Craft 2102 24th St SE Ruskin\, FL 33570 \nTIMELINE\n08:00 AM: Check-In / Weigh-Ins (Kit verification) \n08:45 AM: Match Safety Briefing (Mandatory) \n09:00 AM: Range Hot / First Shots \nREGISTRATION FEE\nCost: $60.00\nPayment: Secure payment via Practiscore (Stripe) is preferred at registration.\nWalk-ons: We accept Cash or Card in person at the range (subject to slot availability). \n4.0 Resource Requirements (Ammo)\nCompetitors are responsible for their own ammunition. \nPistol: 150 Rounds (Minimum)\nRifle: 120 Rounds (Minimum)\nNote: Ammo counts are minimum estimates. We recommend bringing extra for reshoots or calibration. \n5.0 Rules & Safety\nThis match operates under the Official TSSA Rulebook. \nCold Range: Firearms must remain unloaded and holstered/bagged until under the direct supervision of an RO. \nRetention: Gear must be secure. Dropped firearms result in an immediate DQ. \nFITNESS SAFETY: We will be pushing physical limits. Please hydrate the night before. If you are new to competing in a plate carrier\, let the instructors know during the brief so we can scale the volume appropriately. Bring extra hydration and snacks; water and a covered pavilion with fans will be provided. \nMEDIA COVERAGE: A complimentary photo package is included for all attendees. Wave 2 will be a mix of 5 and 10K. Event day registration opens at 06:30 and closes at 12:00. You will receive your specific start time at registration. You must be registered prior to your designated safety brief and you must attend your designated safety brief. \nWave 1: 07:15 Safety Brief\n08:00 First Runner – 10:41 Last Runner \nWave 2: 10:00 Safety Brief\n10:48 First Runner – 13:29 Last Runner \nWave 3: 12:45 Safety Brief\n13:36 First Runner – 16:03 Last Runner \n18:00 Awards Ceremony and Random Draw Prize Table (time may vary based on when the last runner finishes and scores are complete). \nIntroduction: \nThe Badger Trekker is a 5K or 10K Run and Gun\, “shooting biathlon\,” combining aspects of a trail run\, mud run\, obstacle course\, and a multi-gun match. The Trekker is not for the faint of heart. If you dislike mud and water\, pushups\, heights\, or physical challenges\, this is probably not the event for you! \nThis event is not intended for inexperienced shooters – you must have an adequate understanding of firearms safety and skills. \nThis is a test of man and equipment alike. Everyone competes equally – there are no divisions. Stages offer a variety of challenges and unique opportunities\, both mentally and physically. It’s intended to give you a good idea of how the environment and mental/physical fatigue affect your shooting and performance. \nHow It Works: \nThe Badger Trekker is a centerfire biathlon that is either a distance of 5k or 10k\, depending on your preference. Participants start the trail at predetermined times provided at registration the day of the event. Runners follow a clearly-marked path that spans the club property. Any and all natural obstacles like hills and water may be used against you. Pay attention to signage as the 5k and 10k courses share parts of the path and also deviate from one another. Of course\, the 10k route contains more stages than the 5k. \nThe trails and path itself are well marked. The club has 80 acres and vigilant neighbors\, so all participants are required to stay on the marked path throughout the run. The trail may feature difficult terrain but this on purpose. You’ll likely experience a little bit of everything except paved roads. Be mindful of other participants and traffic at all times. \nShooting stages are located in bays at various points along the trail and each is under the direct supervision of a Range Officer (RO). Firearms will be checked by ROs at the arrival and departure of each stage – rifles must be unloaded and pistols unloaded until given the make ready on stage one. Pistols may remain hot and holstered after stage one. Between stages rifles must be empty and on safe\, pistol securely holstered. \nStages contain unique shooting and physical challenges and distances vary. The longest rifle shot will be around 300 yards\, and the longest handgun shots might be out to 50 yards. \nEvery stage contains a par time to prevent back ups and keep things moving. Shooters will be stopped at par time regardless of progress and penalties for missed targets\, etc will given accordingly. \nEquipment and Fitness Requirements: \nThe Badger Trekker is a “run what you brung” style match\, meaning you can use any gear you choose (with a few exceptions). Want to use your M1 Garand and honor your bad-ass grandfather? Have mad cop skills with a .38 special? Or do you favor the ultra tacticool tricked out Mk18? Most people run an AR15\, but any safe center fire rifle that meets the ammunition requirements below are welcome. For handguns\, the recommended minimum caliber is 9MM\, no magnums are allowed. \nAmmunition – Armor Piercing\, Steel tip / core and SS109 ammunition is NOT allowed for this event. Anyone found shooting armor piercing or steel core ammo will be DQ’d. No rounds larger than 308 or exceeding 3200 FPS will be permitted. Most of the steel targets you are shooting today are owned personally by the staff. Please respect our property. \nThere is NO zeroing or sighting in at this event. Come prepared. \nHere is a list of gear you will need: \n• Reliable\, sighted in rifle\n• Reliable\, sighted in handgun\n• Magazines for both\n• Rifle ammo count TBD\n• Handgun ammo count TBD\n• Holster that covers the trigger of your handgun (no soft holsters permitted)\n• Sling for rifle that allows safe carry (avoid the single points)\n• Ear and eye protection\n• Stopwatch or time keeping device\n• Water and food\n• A belt\, bag\, chest rig\, or plate carrier to carry everything\n• Footwear and clothes appropriate for the weather that are OK being destroyed\n• Pen and note pad or something to record scores and time \nWhat NOT to bring: \n• A cart or wagon\n• A firearm you can’t be safe with (too heavy\, not familiar\, etc)\n• Steel core\, magnum\, penetrator\, armor piercing\, green tip\, or tracer ammo\n• Clothing that doesn’t shed water quickly \nParticipants should be in good health as the event is physically demanding. Please consider any physical limitations you may have as your health is your responsibility. Drink plenty of water and beware of over-exertion. Move at a pace that is comfortable. \nPlease be sure to check out our sponsors and let them know you appreciate their support!

Water is also highly recommended. You may use any type of gear you want to carry your equipment. Pistols must be carried in a secure holster that covers the trigger if they are to be carried loaded. Rifles may be carried any way you like\, as long as they remain pointed in a safe direction. If you are running in the afternoon you can come to the later safety brief. The first runner will start at 8 AM. \nBasic firearm safety must be observed at all times. If you are found to be breaking these rules you will be disqualified and escorted off the premises. \nThe run route will take you over varying terrain\, through water\, and over/under obstacles. Do not stray from the marked trail or it may take you into the live fire impact area. Do not skip obstacles or you will receive a run score of 0. \nWhen you approach a shooting stage\, you will first show the RO an empty mag well and empty chamber on your rifle\, if another shooter is currently on the stage when you arrive\, the RO will tell you to start your stopwatch to keep track of your wait time. It is your responsibility to properly time your wait time. The cumulative wait time\, if any\, will be subtracted from your overall run time. When the shooter in front of you has cleared the stage\, the RO will record the wait time that you have on your watch. \nAfter explaining the stage to you\, the RO will give you commands to load and begin firing. Every shooting stage will have a time limit. If you do not complete the stage under the time limit\, you will receive a score of 0 for that stage. If the RO tells you to cease fire you will holster your pistol and unload your rifle. The RO will tell you your time and record your time on the score card. You must show the RO an empty mag well and chamber on your rifle before leaving each stage. Do not run with the bolt open on your empty rifle\, Carolina sand will gladly fill your chamber! \nAt the end of the race your run and shoot scores will be calculated. There will be a random draw of prizes from sponsors that will be awarded. \nThere will be medical personnel at the event in case of emergencies but be aware of over exertion. It will be hot. There is no shame in slowing down and walking. If you believe you cannot complete the event\, an RO will assist in transporting you back to the start. This event is rain or shine. \nAccommodations: \nCall DeWitts at 910-652-2926 for camping and RV hookup information. \nRefund/Cancellation Policy: \nYou have until 14 days out from the event to cancel and receive a refund.
