Known for its rugged beauty\, this challenging venue is the perfect setting for what promises to be an unforgettable competition. \nAbout the Tactical Biathlon \nThe Tactical Biathlon is a 2-gun endurance shooting event where competitors carry both a rifle and pistol across a 6–10mile course featuring multiple stages. This format tests not only marksmanship but also physical endurance\, adaptability\, and mental toughness. \nCourse Highlights:\nCompetitors are assigned unique start times.\nNo resupply is allowed once on the course.\nStages vary: rifle-only\, pistol-only\, or mixed.\nEach stage has a 3-minute time limit. Sometimes 4 min….\nFailure to complete a stage in time results in a Did Not Finish (DNF).\nTarget Engagement:\nPistol targets: 15–75 yards\nRifle targets: 50–700 yards\nStages include unique layouts\, requiring movement\, positional changes\, and transitions between weapons. \nScoring:\nWeighted 50% shooting performance / 50% run time(Unless otherwise noted on the specific event page.) \nSafety Rules:\nRifles must remain unloaded with no magazine inserted while on the move.\nPistols may be carried in Condition 1 (round chambered\, holstered).\nMandatory checks will occur at the start/finish and entry/exit of each stage.\nStrict safety enforcement: violations will result in immediate disqualification (DQ) and removal from the course. \nEvent Details:\nLocation: The Grand Couteau Plantation in Raceland\, LA. Date: Saturday October 10th.
