SUMMARY:The Proving Grounds - South Carolina - October - 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Proving Grounds is a 2-gun match that is 70% shooting\, 30% fitness. Competitors will carry objects of varying sizes and weights\, negotiate obstacles\, and engage targets from 1 to 500 yards. 5-6 stages. This competition allows competitors to test their marksmanship\, fitness\, and gear choices. \nJanuary 31\nCheck In 7:00am\nShooter’s Meeting 7:30am \nDivisions:\nMens Elite- Plate carrier weighing a minimum of 15lbs dry (Not including ammo). Weights carried will be the most challenging in this Division. \nMens Intermediate- Plate carrier (15lbs). Weights will be lighter than Elite Division. \nMens Masters- ages 45+. Plate Carrier (15lbs). Weights will be equal to the Intermediate Division. \nSlick- No plate carrier\, just guns and ammo. Run the same stages and do the same obstacles and physical challenges just without a plate carrier. Weights will be equal to the Intermediate division. \nWomen \nFirearms: All divisions are Open. (Rifle and Pistol may run any optic and any muzzle device \nRifle – Anything .308 and below. (Must have a sling.) \nPistol – .45 and below (Must have holster with retention) \nMinimum Round Count: 125 pistol\, 125 rifle\n(No green tip or armor piercing rounds allowed.)
