SUMMARY:DEFCON - RUCK SHOOT REPEAT - Florida - September - 2026
DESCRIPTION:RUCK\, SHOOT\, REPEAT\nPresented by Defcon Tactical Fitness \nRuck\, Shoot\, Repeat (RSR) is a timed event that combines weighted rucking with precision rifle. The concept is simple: you have a fixed window to score as many points as you can. Ruck a loop\, shoot a rack\, repeat — and decide how far to push before the fatigue catches up with you. \nHow It Works\nYou’ll have 45 minutes on the clock to score as many points as possible.\nRuck loop — Complete a [250 yard] loop on foot carrying a rucksack (Provided by GORUCK)\, behind the firing line.\nShoot the rack — Return to your firing point and engage a Know Your Limits (KYL) steel rack (Provided by Atlas Target Works) at 100 yards. The rack runs from a 12-inch plate down to a 4-inch plate\, each one smaller than the last. Every plate you hit is worth one point.\nThe catch: you choose how far down the rack to go. Bank the points you’ve earned and head back out for another loop\, or keep pushing for more. But if you miss\, you lose every point from that string. Smaller plate\, bigger risk. Highest total score when the clock runs out wins. \nWhat to Bring\nA zeroed semi-automatic rifle capable of engaging steel at 100 yards\nMagazines\nChamber Flag\nRecommended 120 rounds (see ammunition requirements)\nEye and ear protection (required)\nClothing and footwear you can ruck in\nHydration and Nutrition. \nAmmunition Requirements\nTo protect the steel and everyone on the line\, only brass- or copper-jacketed lead ammunition is allowed. Prohibited: steel-core\, armor-piercing\, incendiary\, tracer\, and bi-metal or steel-jacketed rounds\, including M855/SS109 “green tip.” Ammo may be magnet-checked. \nPrizes & Raffle ($950+ Prize Pool)\nEvery competitor who finishes earns an event shirt and a raffle ticket\, with additional tickets awarded by placement. Everyone has a shot at any prize in the pool — including GORUCK gear and optics from Vortex — and top finishers get the best odds. \nRegistration deadline to receive a t-shirt – 8/23/2026 \nRefunds: No refunds. Your entry can be credited toward a future Defcon Tactical Fitness event; credit expires one year after the original event date. \nThank you to our sponsors: GORUCK\, Atlas Target Works and Vortex. \n*IMPORTAINT NOTE – you MUST check in at the range office prior to coming to Area 51 range\, sign their waiver and get a wrist band. You will not be able to shoot without it.

SUMMARY:Green Beret Fitness - Operation Shooter - South Carolina - December - 2026
DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n\n\n\nOperation SHOOTER (Winter) 2026 \n \nEvent Start Time: Saturday 12 December 2026 at 0500 hrs Briefing \nStart Location: The SawMill Training Complex\, SC \nEvent Finish Time: Sunday 13 December 2026 at 1600 hrs \nFinish Location: The SawMill Training Complex\, SC \n \nOperation SHOOTER is the proving ground for tactical athletes who want truth\, not frills. Across two days you will move through shooting and fitness evolutions built around real military problems\, where accuracy\, speed\, and decision making collide under pressure. This isn’t target shooting in comfort\, it is hitting when you are cold\, smoked\, and overloaded\, where every mistake costs time and every decision shapes your outcome. \n \nThe scenarios are drawn from real operations\, forcing you to adapt fast\, manage stress\, and think like an operator in environments that refuse to cooperate. Precision meets chaos\, and only those who can hold their standard under real world conditions will rise. \n \nBy the end you are not just a sharper shot\, you are a more capable\, more confident operator\, forged by conditions that punish hesitation. All equipment and ammunition are your responsibility. \n \nBackground \n \nThis event puts you into a harsher and more realistic environment than anything else in the US shooting world. Every evolution is built from real operational problems and nothing is revealed until you face it. You will be wet\, tired\, dirty\, and frustrated\, because shooting is easy when you’ve slept and eaten. Here you get pressure instead of comfort\, uncertainty instead of routine. The only question that matters is whether you can stay in control when everything else is slipping. \n \nMission \n \nCandidates must complete seven events over two days\, and one night. The scores for each event will be added to get a total score. You will not be given your score until the very end. \n \nThe Events \n \nFor 2026\, Op SHOOTER expands into a true multi event gauntlet. Competitors will face at least seven tests that blend endurance\, movement\, strength\, and precision. Each evolution demands a different gear shift under pressure\, forcing athletes to manage fatigue as the day compounds. Nothing is predictable\, nothing repeats\, and every event is designed to expose weaknesses. This is not about excelling at one skill\, it is about holding your standard across all of them. \n \nExecution \n \nCandidates will complete events while carrying 25 lbs in a backpack (not including water\, food\, and firearms). \n \nCourses will be well marked and will consist of off-road\, on track\, and water obstacles. Candidates should ensure their kit is fully waterproof. \nBetween events\, candidates are encouraged to hydrate\, rest\, and maintain their equipment. \n \nScoring \n \nScores will be taken from both the fitness and shooting elements. You will not know where you place until the end of the event.
