About the Event
Run n Gun is a 2-gun tactical biathlon combining trail running and shooting. Competitors carry both a rifle and pistol over a set course, encountering multiple stages that test both physical fitness and shooting skill.

Course distance: Varies depending on the event

Shooting stages: May be pistol-only, rifle-only, or a mix of both

Stage time limit: Up to 3 minutes per stage

Scoring: 50% shooting, 50% run time

Failure to complete a stage within the time limit results in a Did Not Finish (DNF) for that stage.

Shooting Details
Pistol targets: 15–50 yards

Rifle targets: 75–700 yards

Sniper targets: Up to 1,300 yards. Caliber Restrictions- .223-.308. No ammo over 3200 FPS.

Each stage has unique target layouts, sizes, and shooting positions

Stages may include movement, weapon transitions, and unconventional shooting positions

Competitors must be able to adapt quickly to the layout and distance of each stage.

Safety Rules (Strictly Enforced)
Rifles: Must be unloaded with no magazine inserted while on course

Pistols: May be loaded (condition 1) while holstered

Safety checks: At start/finish and entry/exit of every stage

Trigger discipline and muzzle awareness required at all times

Any unsafe behavior or rule violations will result in disqualification

Series vs Rivals vs Sniper Courses
We aim to set up separate and unique courses for the Series, Rivals and Sniper events. However, some stages may be reused or modified between the two days. Competitors should come prepared for variability.
