Join us for the 2nd annual Frost Off Run N Gun hosted by Racine County Line Rifle Club.

Frost Off Run N Gun is a 5K* course that will test your endurance, skill, gear, and likely your patience in extreme winter conditions. It is a true challenge of both man and equipment alike. You will get to experience firsthand how the cold elements affect your shooting, mental state, and physical stamina. You will be expected to carry all your gear for the duration of the match, this includes but is not limited to — ammo, snacks, water, weapons, and anything else you may want along the way. Once you leave the starting line, you will not be allowed to return to your vehicle to resupply.

The Course: Competitors will navigate a clearly marked trail completing 2 full laps around the property. Along the way you can expect steep hills, rough terrain, ice cold temperatures, and hopefully lots of snow. Our range is mostly flat but the course layout will send you along winding paths, steep hills, over walls, and under barriers. Leave your 3g carts and wagons at home folks because it’s not that kind of party!

Stages: Each stage contains unique shooting and physical challenges designed to test your ability. The furthest rifle shot could be around 400 yards on one stage, and the longest handgun shots might be out to 50 yards. We will have moving and reactive targets, likely climb in and out of vehicles or other props so expect a little bit of everything then multiply it for the weather.

Round count: TBD – will be announced on our Facebook page 2 weeks before match day.

Weather: This match will happen regardless of conditions so pay attention to the weather and dress accordingly.
Cost: $100

Refunds: We will provide a full refund up to 12/10/26, less $10 processing fee. After December 10th we cannot provide a refund, no exceptions.

Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event the match is cancelled, refunds will be issued less $5 to cover processing.

Run Order: Runners each have an individual start time spaced 7 minutes apart starting at 7:30AM. You can sign up for one of three waves below, but your exact run time will not be provided until event day. Event day registration opens at 06:30 and closes at 11:30.
