RUCK, SHOOT, REPEAT

Ruck, Shoot, Repeat (RSR) is a timed event that combines weighted rucking with precision rifle. The concept is simple: you have a fixed window to score as many points as you can. Ruck a loop, shoot a rack, repeat — and decide how far to push before the fatigue catches up with you.
How It Works
You’ll have 45 minutes on the clock to score as many points as possible.
Ruck loop — Complete a [250 yard] loop on foot carrying a rucksack (Provided by GORUCK), behind the firing line.
Shoot the rack — Return to your firing point and engage a Know Your Limits (KYL) steel rack (Provided by Atlas Target Works) at 100 yards. The rack runs from a 12-inch plate down to a 4-inch plate, each one smaller than the last. Every plate you hit is worth one point.
The catch: you choose how far down the rack to go. Bank the points you’ve earned and head back out for another loop, or keep pushing for more. But if you miss, you lose every point from that string. Smaller plate, bigger risk. Highest total score when the clock runs out wins.

A zeroed semi-automatic rifle capable of engaging steel at 100 yards

Recommended 120 rounds (see ammunition requirements)
Eye and ear protection (required)
Clothing and footwear you can ruck in
Hydration and Nutrition.
Ammunition Requirements
To protect the steel and everyone on the line, only brass- or copper-jacketed lead ammunition is allowed. Prohibited: steel-core, armor-piercing, incendiary, tracer, and bi-metal or steel-jacketed rounds, including M855/SS109 “green tip.” Ammo may be magnet-checked.
Prizes & Raffle ($950+ Prize Pool)
Every competitor who finishes earns an event shirt and a raffle ticket, with additional tickets awarded by placement. Everyone has a shot at any prize in the pool — including GORUCK gear and optics from Vortex — and top finishers get the best odds.
